I had that problem too I had to keep picking up the anvil and placing it in new spots, and I had to hold left click in the corner of the ingot or it didn’t work. There is a block from Thermal Expansion, called the Autonomous Activator.
Do you have any other mods installed alongside Pixelmon Something that interacts with tools might change up hammer/anvil interaction. By putting a Pixelmon hammer in the machine, and setting it to left click, you can have automatic Pokeball/plate manufacturing!
